It features large, high-contrast buttons that are easy to hit while keeping your eyes on the road and a stripped-down feature set that won't distract you from driving safely. Car Player functions by attaching to whatever your iPhone device is currently playing and allowing you to control it with the pause/play, next, and previous buttons at the bottom. Any album, playlist, or any other media selection that your device is playing will continue to play. You can also control the shuffle mode. One additional feature exists: the ability to cycle playlists. Got the perfect playlist selected for a road trip? The arrows at the top let you change from the default iPod music player's current playlist to any playlist on your device. Car Player has several color schemes or themes to choose from.
